Students will support the design cycle (brainstorming, planning, creating, reflecting) by writing, listening and speaking with peers, by reading/referencing tutorials on their own and by selecting the appropriate Photoshop tools needed to create a GIF. They will be able to justify why they used those tools and how to animate their ideas.

And these days, you’ll often find that gifs can become memes – but don’t get confused. Memes are very different. Meme is basically a funny picture or video given a new context, usually around a relatable truth, which travel in a viral way through the culture of the Internet. Undoubtedly memes have become one of the go-to methods of transmitting simple ideas and emotional truths in recent times. Like a virus, a meme moves from host to host, mutating along the way.
