Students will participate in the creative process by using the appropriate technology or artistic technique and by referencing tutorials for instruction. Students will be able to investigate evidence theme and get support through speaking & listening to teacher and peers. Art Standards: 1,2,3,4 Medium: Student choice - Photo, digital art, sculpture, drawing/painting or any other thing you can think of. Vocabulary: Elements & principles of art, Rules of composition Project: Create at least one or more drawing, painting or photograph that depicts evidence of your existence on this planet. Think about how the world would be different if you were not here, for instance. Or consider what elements of the world prove that you exist – an unmade bed, for example, or your breakfast dishes, text messages from your BFF, etc. Begin by making a list of things in your sketchbook that provide “evidence” that you exist. Think about foreground, middle ground & background. Backgrounds are important. It should tell us something about you. Also consider rules of composition: perspective, point of view, lighting, rules of thirds etc.
