Assignment 1: What do you remember?Show me what you know... “All About Me” Nameplate Design
CLO: SWBAT plan a design for a nameplate that the student will create with limited instruction, to then create an 8.5x11 nameplate describing their personality using a computer program of choice. Background: In order to get to know each other better, we will be creating nametags that show your name, as well as some interesting things about yourself. Use research sheet. Independently, using the design cycle (Identify the problem/brainstorm, Research, Plan/sketch, Build/create, Evaluate) you will design and build a nameplate. It displays your name large enough to be seen from four meters away. It also needs to have at least one photograph and show at least two things you are interested in and one detail about yourself. Criteria: Your nametag must: · include a photograph · show your name large enough to be read from at least four meters away. · one detail about yourself · show at least two things that you are interested in. · be neat and colorful. Materials: White paper & pencil, Mac Tools: Computer programs: Word, Power Point, Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator Due: Monday Aug 31, 2015 |
